Arrival Guwahati, Drive approx. 3 hrs / 103 Kms to the border town Samdrup Jongkhar ( Bhutan) – Complete immigration. Overnight Samdrup Jongkhar.
Day Highlight: Transition from flat fields plains of Assam to the forested, rising foothills of Southeastern Bhutan Hills & the Cultural exchange of Assamese, Bodo & Bhutanese people.
Drive approx. 5 Hrs/180 KMS - Samdrup Jongkhar to Trashigang.The winding route climbs steeply through thick tropical forests, passing small villages and pristine ridges on the way to Trashigang, once a centre for busy trade with Tibet. Overnight Trashigang.
Day Highlight: Enjoy roadside stalls selling seasonal fruits, Cheese & local weaving – view of historic fortress built in 1659 – The Trasigang Dzong.
Drive approx. 04 – 05 Hrs / 150 Kms Trashigang to Yongkola (Mongar) Crossing the Kuri Chu River reach the Yongkola pass – It is one of the best birding hotspot of the region - Overnight Yongkola.
Day Highlight: Terraced rice fields of Kuri Chu River Valley, Yongkola birding Hotspots.
Exploring the forest surroundings of Yongkola (1700 to 1800 Meters) & the pristine wilderness of Thrumshingla National Park. Village Walks. Overnight Yongkola.
Yongkola to Bumthang, Drive approx. 05 Hrs / 150 Kms, We will traverse the high-altitude Thrumshing La Pass (over 3,700 meters) to descend into the sprawling, spiritual valleys of Bumthang. Overnight Bumthang.
Day Highlight: Thrumsingla Pass – The traditional stone house of Ura Village – Buckwheat fields, Apple orchards and Buddhist Monasteries of Jakar Valley.

Day Highlight: Kurjey Lhakhang - Jambay Lhakhang - Tamshing Lhakhang - Jakar Dzong – Mebar Tso (Burning Lake) - Ogyen Chholing Palace & Museum
Bumthang to Tingtibi, Drive approx. 05 Hrs / 180 Kms, The scenic drive through the historic town of Trongsa - the geographic center of the Kingdom.
Day Highlight: Crossing the thick Rhododendron & Bamboo forest of Yotong La – Chume Weaving Centre –Trongsa Dzong View point.
Explore Tingtibi : Entering the Royal Manas Landscape, on way birdwatching. Overnight Tingtibi.
Tingtibi to Gelephu. Drive approx. 03 Hrs/ 92 Kms, The route is dense one can spot the Golden Langur and different bird species while crossing through the Royal Manas National Park. Overnight Gelephu.
Exit Bhutan through the Gelephu border – Drive approx. 5 hrs to Guwahati for connective flight.
